
Within the scope of the Cereal Technology course, a technical visit to Ulusoy Un A.Ş. 50th Anniversary Production Facility was carried out on 12 December 2024 with the participation of 26 students, accompanied by Research Assistant Fatma AL. After providing students with theoretical knowledge on milling technology, the technical trip was organized to help them gain practical insights in the field. At the beginning of the visit, Production Manager and Food Engineer Eray Şerifoğlu gave a general briefing on the factory, flour production, laboratory procedures, and quality analyses. Afterwards, Quality Control Chief Özge Akkaya provided detailed information regarding laboratory analyses. The visit continued with Production Supervisor and Food Engineer Merve Ergin, who thoroughly explained the flour production process within the facility and answered students’ questions.
