On March 27, 2024, Dr. Latife Betül Gül, a faculty member from our department, held a workshop titled "Clean Hands, Healthy Bodies" for preschool students at Ondokuz Mayıs University Nursery and Daycare Center to reinforce handwashing habits. As part of the event, we first warmed up with a Hacivat-Karagöz show. Following this, with guidance and guidance from our faculty member, the children were inoculated into microbial cultures using hand tissue. The inoculations were then followed up with the children and their families in the coming days. This emphasized the importance of handwashing and simultaneously encouraged the children's interest and curiosity in science by engaging in a scientific activity.
